Man indicted for creating pipe bombs to avenge death of cousin

The State Attorney's office has indicted a 17-year-old from east Jerusalem on dealing weapons for the purposes of terrorism.

According to the indictment, the young man wanted to avenge the death of his cousin, who carried out a knife attack in the Kalandia checkpoint, and manufactured explosive devices he meant to hurl at security forces stationed in the checkpoint.

Along with his friend, he allegedly purchased hundreds of bullets, fireworks and pipes to create pipe bombs.
