Government Press Office denies reconsidering suspension of Al-Jazeera reporter

The Government Press Office (GPO) denied the Israel Press Council's claim it intends to reexamine its decision to revoke the press credentials of Al-Jazeera's Jerusalem reporter, Elias Karam.
The GPO says it still awaits opinion of security officials, and a decision will likely be made until this coming Wednesday.
Karam's credentials were revoked after an interview he gave, saying "as a Palestinian reporter in an occupied territory, journalistic work is part of the resistance."
