New Israeli ambassador to Germany begins mission

Israel's ambassador to Germany Jeremy Issacharoff presented his writ of appointment to German President Frank0-Walter Steinmeier. Issacharoff was accompanied by his wife Liora and children David and Ella.
Issacharoff has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the past 36 years and, in his last position, served as the ministry's Deputy Director General.
Tuesday afternoon he'll place a wreath in the memory of Berlin Jewry sent to death camps during the Holocaust in a special ceremony taking place in the historic Track 17.
