Jordan denounces Israeli MKs visit to the Temple Mount

Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammad al-Momani condemned the visit of MKs Yehuda Glick (Likud) and Shuli Mualem-Rafaeli (Bayit Yehudi) to the Temple Mount this on Tuesday morning.
Al-Mawmani called the visit "an assault" on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and added that "the decision of the Israeli prime minister to cancel the ban on visits by MKs to the mosque is irresponsible and may increase the tension and escalation there. We would expect steps to help the international efforts to re-launch negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians and not these odious steps."
