Trump removes US amb. to Jordan following King Abdullah's request

US President Donald Trump has ordered the removal of US Ambassador to Jordan Alice Wells following the request of Jordanian King Abdullah II, this according to newspaper Foreign Policy.

The decision comes despite the fact that no evidence was found that Wells acted in an improper manner.

Trump's predecessor, former president Barack Obama, had refused a similar request by King Abdullah to remove Wells from office.
