Man charged with stabbing own mother fearing she denigrated family's honor

State Attorney's Office has indicted a 21-year-old Ramla resident with aggravated battery and obstruction of justice after he stabbed his mother while she was pregnant.
The young man called his mother to arrive at his grandmother's residence, the indictment said, claiming the grandmother needed her immediately.
The mother arrived to the home with her small daughters, at which point he asked to speak with her alone in the building's courtyard. When she left, he stabbed her for fear she denigrated the family's honor.
