The parties of the opposition have gathered the requisite signatures to hold a special urgent session—while the Knesset is in recess—to discuss the disabled protests.
"The government is denigrated the disabled and us MKs have to come forward to put an end to this travesty," said MK Itzik Shmuli (Zionist Union), one of the discussion's initiators.
