Hurricane 'Irma': Israeli consulate in Miami closed, Israeli emissaries evacuated

The Foreign Ministry has decided to evacuate their emissaries and their families living in Miami in the wake of hurricane Irma, which is expected to hit the country this weekend.
Following the decision, the Israeli Consulate in Miami will close until further notice.
The ministry called on Israelis in the area to follow the instructions of the local authorities and act accordingly.
