Ministerial Committee for dealing with illegal immigrants convenes for 1st time

The ministerial committee to deal with the phenomenon of illegal aliens in Israel, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, convened for the first time.
The committee includes ministers Aryeh Deri, Ayelet Shaked, Ofir Akunis, Eli Cohen and Deputy Minister Yitzhak Cohen.
Netanyahu said at the meeting: "The most important solution we will focus on is getting people out. We will not be able to get everyone out, but we have already deported close to 20,000 and we will have to finish the job."
