East Jerusalem mental institution employee suspected of sexually abusing patient

A 60-year-old Jerusalem resident who works in an educational institution for mentally disturbed youngsters in east Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old treated there.
The girl told a relative he had abused her several times over the past months, and the relative contacted welfare services, who forwarded the information to the police.
The employee will later face a remanding hearing in the Jerusalem District Court.
