The Counter-Terrorism Bureau issued a travel warning to Turkey in anticipation of the Tishrei holidays, announcing recommendation to avoid traveling there and saying persons already there should leave as soon as possible.
The Bureau stressed there is also some concern of ISIS-linked terrorist attacks in northern and western Europe and advised to remain vigilant in crowded places.
The Sinai terror threat remained at the highest level, with the Bureau stating trips to Egypt, Jordan and the Mindanao island of the Philippines are still dangerous.
