IDF soldiers soon to be able to ride public transport for free without uniforms
Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon and Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman decided jointly soldiers in regular IDF duty will be able to ride public transportation for free on weekends even when not in uniform.
The agreement between the ministers will be signed tomorrow. It will state soldiers will be able to ride both buses and trains free of charge during Friday and Saturday using their soldier ID card as a ticket.
