Trump slams Iran in UN speech

In his first ever UN speech, US President Donald Trump said that the Iranian government is an "economically depleted rogue state" whose chief export is violence.

"Instead of using the money to improve the lives of civilians, Iran's money goes to terror organizations like Hezbollah that attack innocents in Israel," he said. "We will not allow the murderous regime in Iran to continue building missiles."

He also called the Iranian nuclear deal "an embarrassment to the US," claiming it is "one of the worst deals" that the US has ever made.
