Natural gas supply from Tamar reservoir halted due to malfunction
The supply of natural gas from the Tamar reservoir was halted completely on Thursday as a result of a malfunction detected during planned maintenance work, the Energy Ministry said.
The ministry said the issue is expected to be fixed within 24 hours.
Despite the malfunction, the Israel Electricity Corporation said it would be able to meet demand, including at peak times.
