Some 50,000 people visited Israel's many national parks and nature reserves Friday, 3,000 of them being tourists from abroad.
Especially heavy visitor traffic was observed in the various national parks in the country's north, including the Achziv national park, the Majrase nature reserve, the Well of Harod, the Banias nature reserve and the Hurshat Tal National Park.
