Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated German Chancellor Angela Merkel late Sunday for winning a fourth term.
"Congratulations to Angela Merkel, a true friend of Israel, on her re-election as Chancellor of Germany," the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
