Russia condemns 'illegal' seizure of property in US, may retaliate

MOSCOW – Moscow protested to Washington over what it called an illegal seizure of its consulate general in San Francisco, saying it reserved the right to retaliate against US diplomatic property in Russia.

"Despite our warnings, the US authorities did not listen to reason and did not give up their illegal intentions," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
