Bus driver involved in Carmel Tunnels accident sentenced to 14 months in prison

The Haifa Traffic Court sentenced Mekonen Beilin, 45, of Haifa to a year and two months in prison. Beilin was involved in the accident in the Carmel Tunnels 18 months that claimed the life of Or Elbaz, 17, also of Haifa, and wounded 54 people.
Beilin was also given an eight months suspended sentence and the court disqualified him from receiving a license for 10 years, and a license for heavy vehicles for 14 years.
