Jackal that bit two people in northern region may be infected with rabies
A jackal bit two people in the Nir David kibbutz near Beit She'an.
The jackal was suspected to be infected with rabies.
Israel Nature and Parks Authority said the jackal was located in the area where the bites took place, showed suspicious signs of rabies and was put down. His body was taken in for a rabies test.
