Labor Party Chairman congratulates US for UNESCO withdrawal
Labor Party Chairman Avi Gabbay commented on the United States' withdrawal from UNESCO and said that he "congratulates the United States on the right decision to withdraw from membership in UNESCO.
"UNESCO does not deal with culture but rather with the distortion of Jewish history and the politics of symbols. "
Earlier, the State Department said the United States would withdraw from the organization until December 31, 2018.
