Layoffs of 140 Negev Ceramics employees frozen, factory to remain closed

The Be'er Sheva Labor Court canceled the termination letters sent by management of the Negev Ceramics factory in Yeruham to its 140 employees, ordering the sides to enter intensive negotiations to resolve the issue.
Management and employees will meet again at the Labor Court in two weeks.
Despite the Histadrut trade union federation's request to keep the factory open until that time, judges ordered it will remain closed.
