Man murdered in Lod, family members hit by train while driving to scene
A 46 year old man was shot in Lod's Ben Yehuda Street. Magen David Adom paramedics removed him to the Yitzhak Shamir Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Three of his relatives learned of the shooting and hurried to the scene, breaking through a train barricade, and were hit by a passing train. Two are in serious condition, and the third in moderate condition.
