El-Sisi: 'Believe Palestinian reconciliation would lead to renewed negotiation with Israel'
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi told President of the World Jewish Congress Ron Lauder his country was hard at work at implementing the Palestinian reconciliation on the ground and to reinstate the Palestinian Authority's control over the Gaza Strip.
Egypt was doing so out of the belief it will reinvigorate negotiations with Israel, he said.
The two met in Cairo along with Director of the General Intelligence Directorate Gen. Khaled Fawzy.
