GOC Army Headquarters Maj.-Gen. Kobi Barak suspended commander of the border protection array and chief combat intelligence collection officer Brig.-Gen. Mordechai Kahana following the army's Criminal Investigation Division's inquiry into his conduct.
Kahana is suspected of improperly receiving and possessing for a prolonged period of time civilian as well as military equipment possibly previously owned by Hamas.
