State Comptroller: unimplemented green energy plans cost about NIS 16 billion annually

The State Comptroller's report reveals that government decisions on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the integration of renewable energies, such as solar energy and water and wind energies, in the production of electricity have  not yet been implemented.

 

According to the report, the cost of damage to Israel due to pollutant emissions was estimated at NIS 16 billion in 2015.

 

More than half of pollutant emissions are caused by electricity production.
