State Comptroller: Finance Ministry aware of major faults in long-term care insurance for 19 years

The State Comptroller's report revealed that since 1998, the Ministry of Finance has been aware of major faults in the existing form of group long-term care insurance, yet refrained from prohibiting the marketing of problematic insurance or dealing with the faults—even though it projected that many in Israel may remain without long-term care insurance.
