Hamas responds: We will not provide information for the missing in the tunnel

After the IDF Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, stated Thursday that Israel would not allow the bodies of the five terrorists killed in the tunnel bombing to be exumed from the tunnel without without Hamas relaying information on the conditions of the Israeli POWs and MIAs in is holding captive, senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar responded on Friday by saying that Hamas will be giving out such information.

Al-Zahar continued by saying that as far as Hamas is concerned, the terrorists who died in the tunnel were buried in the soil of their land.

The Iran-linked terrorist group Islamic Jihad, whose militants were the ones buried in the tunnel, issued a statement announcing that it considers them to be dead.
