Petition to remove PM envoy Molcho removed after he resigns

The petition demanding that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's personal envoy for matters of international diplomacy Yitzhak Molcho resign, has been withdrawn. This following Molcho's announcement in October, that he will voluntarily resign from his position in February.

The petition against Molcho was originally submitted over a suspected conflict of interests between Molcho's diplomatic work on behalf of Netanyahu and the dealings of his law firm, particularly those carried out by his partner and brother-in-law, David Shimron, who is also a cousin of Netanyahu and who is currently being investigated in the submarine corruption affair.
