The Jewish National Fund announced Tuesday it will no longer work with the Israel Lands Authority (ILA) under their current agreement.
"In light of repeated violations by the Israeli government of its obligations, we hereby announce that the Israeli Lands Authority is hereby required not to take any action On land owned by the JNF, including any act of marketing land owned by the JNF or any other transaction relating to lands owned by the JNF," stated the JNF announcement.
The letter was sent after the government approved a law stating that if the JNF does not transfer 80 percent of its revenues annually to the state, its tax exemption will be canceled.
