The Lod District Court sentenced Shai Moshe, a former senior Egg and Poultry Board official, to four years in prison and a fine after convicting him of accepting bribes, fraud, breach of trust offenses, committing acts that may spread diseases and other offenses.
Moshe was convicted as part of a larger investigation as part of which 17 defendants allegedly colluded to smuggle fake eggs from the Palestinian Authority to Israel.
