Ministry of Environmental Protection initiates criminal investigation after sewage flows onto Betzet Beach

The Ministry of Environmental Protection initiated a criminal investigation against a contractor working for the Maayanot Ziv Water Corporation after sewage flowed onto Betzet Beach, causing serious damages.

The ministry instructed Maayanot Ziv to pump as much of the sewage as possible out of the beach and created a battery stopping it overflowing into the sea.
