Zionist Union leader Avi Gabbay said Thursday his comment that "the Left forgot what it means to be Jewish" was taken out of context.
"I made a very complex statement and one line was singled out," he said during a conference at the Academic College of Emek Yezreel. "During the debate itself, there were no raised eyebrows because they understood the context."
