Some 70,000 Israelis visited the country's national parks and nature reserves on Saturday, the Nature and Parks Authority said.
Among the popular national parks were Masada, Caesarea, Qumran and Yarkon. Among the popular nature reserves were Ein Gedi and Ein Afek.
