Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan said Monday that "ninety percent of those who pay the price of the phenomenon of illegal immigration in Israel are residents of south Tel Aviv," adding that, even though their voices are unfortunately ignored, "their struggle is just."
"The Supreme Court erred several times due to its concern for the humane needs of the illegal aliens, who are also human beings and we have a duty to aid them, but our main obligation is to ensure that we bring back the quality of life and personal security of the residents of South Tel Aviv," he emphasized.
"What can we do, the poor of your city come first."
