Kahlon: 'Criticism against us is absurd, AG may request recommendation on Netanyahu investigations'

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon spoke at a meeting of his Kulanu party's parliamentary group on the recommendations bill barring police from making recommendations on indictments, saying, "Criticism levied against us in the past several hours are baseless and absurd."

"As for ongoing investigations, including ones relating to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the attorney general—someone who's without fault, honest and professional—will decide, and we trust him to do so," he said.

Kahlon added the law barring investigations into the affairs of a sitting prime minister will not pass: "If a prime minister needs to be investigated, they will be."
