Man killed after being hit by train near Beit Shemesh

A 40-year-old man was killed on Tuesday morning after being hit by a train near Beit Shemesh.
The man, who has autism, was on a trip in the area when he left his group and wandered onto the tracks near Nahal Sorek.
The group members, who searched for him, eventually found him dead by the train tracks.
The accident led to halting train movement between Beit Shemesh and Lod.
