Egypt: Gamliel's comments undermine our overeignty

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry criticized on Tuesday comments made by Israel's Minister for Social Equality, Gila Gamliel, in which she asserted that a Palestinian state can only be established in the Sinai Peninsula.

"We oppose any action or statement that undermines Egyptian territorial integrity," Shukry said on Egyptian television.

Shukry also denied reports that the Israeli ambassador in Cairo was summoned for a hearing, and said the meeting was requested by him.
