Bennett cancels Association for Civil Rights in Israel's event citing 'activity for terrorists'

Minister of Education Naftali Bennett canceled an event his ministry had organized in conjunction with the Association for Civil Rights in Israel due to "activities for terrorists."
Bennett received a letter signed by 45 bereaved families, who protested the alleged cooperation between the Education Ministry and the Association. The families decried the ministry cooperation with an organization whose purpose, they said, was expanding the human rights of terrorists and their families, citing several cases of the Association appealing to the court to prevent the demolition of terrorists' homes.
The event, on employee rights, was to be held Wednesday.
