Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted that he wished to "send his heartfelt condolences to the family of Sergeant Ron Yitzhak Kukia, murdered in the Arad terrorist attack Thursday."
"Security forces are operating to capture the perpetrators. They will face justice and we'll continue combating terrorism at full force. May Ron's memory be for a blessing and forever in our hearts," Netanyahu added.
