Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman responded to the parent suspected of involuntary manslaughter being questioned under caution for shooting dead a Palestinian in the Nablus area Thursday, saying, "Using a weapon for self defense is a moral value protected by the laws of any democratic country."
Writing on his Facebook account, Lieberman added, "Rioters left the village of Qusra with the intent of lynching children taking a bar mitzvah trip in Samaria. My thanks and gratitude go out to the parent who saved the hikers from the clear and immediate danger to their lives."
