The Supreme Court issued an interim injunction Sunday barring the government from implementing the "Jobs Law" until a hearing on a petition, submitted by the NGO Movement for Integrity, on the matter. The hearing is expected to take place in the coming month.
The law affirmed that a director of any government department having more than 150 employees would be entitled, without the need for a tender, to appoint a deputy in charge of administrative matters for the minister and director.
