Police detained another suspect in the Rishon LeZion corruption affair Monday night and decided to keep him in custody following his interrogation. Four other people were detained for questioning Tuesday morning. Two of them are affiliated with an organized crime group and one of them is associated with Coalition Chairman David Bitan.
Bitan was detained for questioning on Sunday on suspicion of promoting the interests of a crime family member in exchange for covering his debts.
