The State Attorney's Office rejected the request of the Breaking the Silence organization to review the investigation material in the case against the organization's spokesperson, Dean Issacharoff.
Deputy State Prosecutor attorney Nurit Littman added that if new material related to the investigation is discovered, the State Prosecutor's Office will consider opening a new case against Issacharoff.
The case against first lieutenant Issacharoff was opened following a video that was distributed on the Internet, in which Issacharoff described in a Breaking the Silence rally how, while serving as a combat officer, he repeatedly kneed a Palestinian detainee in the face and chest, causing him to "bleed and faint" without any operational justification.
