Herzog: 'We must now strive for agreement with Palestinians'

Chairman of the Opposition Isaac Herzog on Thursday called US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital an "important achievement for Zionism and Israel."

In an interview with Ynet, Herzog stressed that the declaration "requires us to do everything possible to reach an agreement with the Palestinians. I hope that Trump will propose a brave and groundbreaking political outline to end the conflict."
