Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz's Chief of Staff Idan Peretz was questioned under caution on the Rishon LeZion municipality corruption scandal and was released on limiting terms.
Peretz is suspected of lobbying for a contractor who worked with the Hod HaSharon municipality.
Peretz has been with Minister Katz for many years and is considered his confidant.
