East Jerusalem resident convicted with aggravated battery in 2016 stabbing

The Jerusalem District Court convicted east Jerusalem resident Ahmed Ashair of aggravated battery Wednesday for stabbing ultra-Orthodox youth on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem in August 2016.
He was also convicted of participating in a riot and throwing a Molotov cocktail, firecrackers and stones at police.
