Nazareth mayor: Christmas events in city to take place as planned
Nazareth Mayor Ali Salam said Christmas events planned in his city will take place as planned and added, "Reports alleging the events were canceled were not true."
"Nazareth is the city of peace and brotherhood among religions and peoples and there's nothing like the spirit of the holiday and the joint experience to prove that," Salam said.
Traditional Christmas events are thereby set to commence in Nazareth starting Saturday.
