Former tourism minister Misezhnikov starts serving 15 month prison sentence
Former tourism minister Stas Misezhnikov, who was convicted of fraud and breach of trust and given a 15 months sentence, arrived at the Hermon Prison on Sunday morning to begin serving his time.
Misezhnikov signed a plea bargain, admitting to working in a conflict of interest when giving his ministry's support to a students' festival and when appointing a close associate of his to a senior position.
