Security Cabinet approves alternatives for ammonia importing
The Security Cabinet unanimously decided to accept the recommendations and conclusions of the Committee to Examine Alternatives for Importing Ammonia to Israel.
It was determined that the three alternatives for the import of ammonia for the near term that were found acceptable by the Ministry of Environmental Protection are also acceptable from a security standpoint.
A representative of the Haifa municipality chose to leave the committee before the conclusions were submitted due to their disagreement with the recommendations.
