Kahlon to Teva employees: 'Israeli government will not abandon you'
Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon said at the end of a meeting held on expected Teva layoffs that "The Israeli government stands behind the Teva employees and will not abandon them."
The meeting was also attended by Economy Minister Eli Cohen, Histadrut Chairman Avi Nissankorn and representatives of Teva's labor unions.
Histadrut Chairman Nissankorn said, "We must keep Teva strong in Israel and save its Jerusalem factories."
